We were represented by Kaveh Shafaie, Ali Shafaie, and Nathan Peters at the January NAC in Louisville, KY! They did a great job in two very difficult events. All 3 of them fenced in the Division1 Men’s Foil event with 280 competitors. Ali and Nathan fenced in the Division1 Men’s Epee event as well, which had 369 competitors. Our best result in the Foil event came from Kaveh, as he placed 45th in the event and earned more national points. In the Epee event, Ali placed 95th out of 369 as he was able to win back-to-back DE’s to make it to the PT64! It was a great learning experience for us and they’ll continue to work and improve on these results!
