Great fencing by all of our fencers in the Durkan RJCC on 9/15 and 9/16. In Cadet Foil, Kaveh Shafaie finished 3rd and renewed his A, while Nathan Peters renewed his B with an 8th place finish. Nathan was seeded 32nd out of pools, but he beat the #1 and #15 seed to make it into the top 8. Nick Reznick also made the top 64 and Anika Patel put in great effort in her event that day.
In the next day, we had Ali Shafaie go undefeated all day in Junior Foil until the round of 16, where he lost 15-14. He renewed his B with this performance. Kaveh Shafaie made the top 64 and Nick Reznick also fenced very hard in his first Junior event. Thanks to all for their hardwork.
